Daybook Giveaway and Outfit post!

Newest Outfit Post!

Now, naturally, today was rainy, and wet...
a typical winter day in Vancouver, Washington
Definitely no surprises when I woke up to the sound of rain on the roof this morning :)
But I really wanted to wear a dress of course, I threw on tights and boots! Favorite outfit pretty much!
The first three pictures are just pictures...the last one is what happens when I have to run from school to the car ;)

So I also chose this post to blog about my favorite fashion blog, the daybook, and the giveaway going on there! It's part of the extra entry haha

So this is the link to the store where the giveaway takes place:

Then these are my darling shoes I wore today, which I bought in the kids section at payless..

and my lips? Berry Queen from Rimmel :)

New Trouser Jeans and Pen Marks

My Daddy was nice enough to take me shopping today for a skirt I needed for a choir concert tomorrow.
High-waisted and black. Easy enough
Well, After I found the shirt however, I happened to stumble upon these GORGEOUS Jean high-waisted trousers! Now, I've been searching for such a wonderful pair for a looong time! And it's kind of hard for me to find pants that fit me because I've got such a large rear end and such....
Sooo imagine my surprise when they actually fit my perfect! I might be in love :)

I thought this blouse that I bought in Germany at H&M was so absolutely perfect for these pants that I had to put a picture up of them.

Here is a close up of the detail

And then, for the rest of my day....
I tend to throw my hair up in a twisty bun when I get home from school, and it just so happened that the pen I used to skewer my hair was a gel pen without a cap...a blue sparkly gel pen.

See the lovely masterpiece it created on my shirt?

Well that's all for today :)

Christmas Wishlist!!!

So here is my christmas list...inspired by all the 'tis the season wishlists I keep seeing! I just kinda wanted to make one...not that I expect anyone to get any of these items for me ;)

These are the boots from target that I want extremely badly!!!! So so so so cute! They come in black too, but I think tan is definitely more my style.... and if you look at the product pictures you can see that they have a red zipper haha.|1287991011&searchSize=30&searchPage=1&searchNodeID=1038576|1287991011&searchBinNameList=subjectbin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&frombrowse=0

These adorable floral print oxfords are so cute! I have wanted a pair of oxfords forever, and I found these on forever21, and I fell in love!

I saw these heels on the cutest blog ever,
Where Sydney blogs about her and her husband Tyson's daily life. I saw these and fell in love!

I was also inspired by Sydney's blog with this shirt! I had never even thought of getting a blue and white gingham shirt before, until I saw Sydney's numerous ways of wearing one! I kinda fell in love :)

I saw this wrap sweater by chance on Old Navy when I was goggling over the above shirt! I couldn't help adding it to this list haha.

I also saw this skirt by chance...and I just adore it so much! I love the delicateness of it, with the gauzy fabric, and the big flowers on the bottom.

I have a new obsession with Cloche hats! Everything about them, from the versatility, to the vintage feel, to the sweet aesthetics, I just love everything about them!

I have a love of things with peacocks on them...It's just some weird flashy nature I have I suppose :) They just make feel so indy, or so randomly classy! Plus it doesn't hurt that feathered headbands just make me really happy....

I want these leaf earrings! I love everything about them! They are so cute, that I had to put them on here in both colors :)

I also just had to add this random ring in here :) I have another obssession, this one with leaves...I think they're so cute haha. I just can't help loving nature inspired things I guess...

Head Game

Head Game-Tim Downs

This is the last of the published Tim Downs books, and the only one I hadn't read until this morning. Let me just say, Tim Downs is easily one of my favorite authors. His writing is accessible, but sometimes scientific, and when there is mild gore, it's described in an almost clinical manner, making it much easier for me to read. Another surprisingly plus is that he is a christian author, but it's not obvious. I mean, sure, all of his writing is clean and not immoral, but the entire book isn't one running diatribe on praising Jesus. That's one thing that turned me off to a lot of other christian authors; their inability to seperate.
Anyway, this book is the thriller that chronicles one man, Hashim, through his psychological pursuit of three men he holds responsible for his troops deaths in the war. Through psychological games, he drives one man to desperation, then works on the others, slowly taking away everything that matters to them, until they almost feel like life isn't worth living.
Once again, Tim Downs does not disappoint with this exciting and wonderful novel
